With the Michelin Easy Grip Evolution, mounting a snow sock is easier than ever before. This stretchable snow sock is made from a fine mesh of plastic composite cables. The steel links ensure great grip so that this snow chain will hold its own in the snow. Mounting takes place with 2 steps. First, pull the sock over the wheel, then drive the car one metre forward, after which you can pull the sock completely over the wheel. A bit time consuming to mount, but it's worth it!

They turned my front-wheel-drive car into some kind of all-wheel-drive car. I'm very satisfied. Almost no wear visible after driving almost ten kilometers up and down a rather steep gravel road with compressed snow and ice surface. I will spray the tires with water before mounting EGE the next time. That should help to make the interior elastic bands slip easier over the tires.

Easy Grip Evolution 6 passer størrelsemessig godt til dekkdimensjonen 195/60-15. Forholdsvis rask montering er mulig når dekkene er fuktige/våte, men er dekkene tørre, er det både litt tungt og tidkrevende å få de korrekt montert på hjulene. En sprayflaske med vann er nok en god idé å bruke på dekkene før montering. Når de endelig er montert, sitter de godt nok på dekkene til å fungere tillitvekkende både opp og ned lange og bratte bakker - og det ble bare liten slitasje å spore etter en mils kjøring på snø og is. Er positivt overrasket over hvor god gripeevne de gir både i sørpe og på hardt snø- og isdekke. Så bare man passer på å bestille stor nok størrelse (til f.eks 235/60-18 ville jeg nok kjøpt Evo 16, ikke Evo 15, se her: http://babyrr.com/forum/Thread-Michelin-Easy-Grip-snow-chains
